AIRPORT

Berlin Brandenburg Airport Willy Brandt (IATA: BER, ICAO: EDDB) or Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg "Willy Brandt" in German.

It is located in Schönefeld, south of Berlin. The new airport replaced Tempelhof, Schönefeld and Tegel airports and became the single commercial airport serving Berlin and surrounding areas. See Wikipedia entry for more information.

Being one of the top destinations in Europe, the city of Berlin offers a wide array of accommodation choices. WFTO has reserved a number of beds in the hotels listed below, which can be booked by attendees. Hotel booking is not included in the Summit tickets. Attendees are responsible for executing the hotel booking and for accommodation expenses. Please note that hotel accommodation is limited and attendees are advised to book their reservation right after they’ve successfully registered for the summit and no later than 2 months before the event.

VISA APPLICATION 

Summit invitation letter. Attendees can request a Summit Invitation Letter or/and a Letter of Support to the Germany Embassy for their visa application. Members will be responsible for providing these documents to the corresponding documents to the Germany Embassy in their country and for running the entire visa application process.

To apply for these documents they need to submit a request to k.frank@forum-fairer-handel.de including:

    1. Name
    2. Fair Trade Enterprise name
    3. Passport number
    4. Nationality
    5.Country where the visa is being applied for
    6. Visa type (see Schengen Business VISA)
